Sunday is a day where many take the time to relax and enjoy self. The day to kick back with loved ones or just yourself. It is important to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit every so often in order to stay centered and track back to self. Having different outlets to do so will help to keep your downtime interesting.
A popular way to relax is to meditate and rejuvenate your zen. Meditation keeps the mind clear and your body calm. In order to meditate affectively seclude yourself to a quiet space for a couple of minutes or more, you could also set a timer with your desired minutes. Lay down or sit up on the floor or on a comfortable mat, close your eyes and do your best not to think, as thoughts pass, breathe them away by taking a deep breath in through your nose, and out through your mouth. Clear your thoughts and worries. Just be.
If meditating isn’t something your interested in reading a book or magazine article while cozying up with your favorite blanket with some enriching tea or your favorite brewed coffee is always another option. It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as it is relaxing for you, as long as some type of serenity for self is happening.
